U.S. Women Going To World Cup Final
U.S. women cruise into World Cup final

United States 3-1 France: US advances to Women's World Cup final - Womens World Cup News | FOX Sports on MSN

Damn, I missed the game but will not miss the final. I don't normally watch soccer, I mean "football" but do watch these World Cup games. Didn't even know about these games until somebody on my Facebook (army brat like myself) pointed out some of these games were being played where we once lived in Germany.

So I hope the U.S. women crush Japan.

July 17th, 2:45 PM is the Final.

    Das nennt man Fußball.

Born / raised north of Frankfurt in Gießen.

Didn't know it was on either until I saw the highlights last night on the late news.

    Go USA!

I am NOT a soccer fan, but if you watch Sportscenter or any other sports highlight shows, how could you have missed the endless, constant, overbearing, burdensome, redundant, recaps of the overtime US win over Brazil?

That was a big win, it's going to be on the news a lot. I don't normally watch soccer myself, even tho I played a lot of it growing up but I love these types of world competitions. I was just thinking, we got the Summer Games in London coming up next year.

I have been loving watching them play, and am also not a huge soccer fan. I do love the World Cup system and have always enjoyed it. These girls/ladies are rockin with great athleticism and clutch play. It's always fun rooting for your country!
I too am looking forward to the Olympics!

I have never been a soccer fan but my wife and kids are, two playing competitively. I didn't watch the Brazil game but had the videos sent to me so many time that I felt I was actually there.
