Exclamation buy.at and Affiliate Window Data Center Outage
    Hello there,

Late last night our primary hosting center reported a severe power outage. Power had not been transferred to the UPS and generator systems and this resulted in a loss of power to the site. Their engineers worked to resolve the issue as a matter of priority and we are pleased to confirm that most of our affected sites are now back up and running.

Due to the nature of the power outage, the buy.at databases were not powered down correctly. This means that there are a number of tests that need to be run in order to ensure the servers are brought back online correctly with no data corruption. Unfortunately this all takes time. We are hoping the buy.at Management Area and reporting will be back up and running shortly.

Please note that buy.at's tracking was impacted between 4:14am - 5:31am EDT. We’ll post more information soon on how this will be addressed.

    Thanks,
    Amy

Update: The buy.at Management Area is still unavailable; the databases are being recovered and we don’t expect this to be fully resolved until late tonight/tomorrow morning.

Thanks so much for your patience and understanding.

    Hello Everyone,

With the exception of an update to the buy.at US website content, we are pleased to confirm that all buy.at systems are back up and running – you should no longer see any reporting discrepancies or experience any difficulties logging in to your Management Area.

Also, we want to assure affiliates that we will provide reimbursement for lost commission as a result of our tracking downtime. The team is currently reviewing affiliate data and calculating the estimated revenue loss for each account. We hope to have a full update for you in the next 24-48 hours.

If you have any questions - please don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,
    Amy

Update: For each affiliate, compensation will be based on an average of their tracked commissions for the same period over the previous 4 Wednesdays. Compensation will include ALL tracked sales on buy.at, irrespective of whether these where eventually approved or declined. Only affiliates that have recorded a sale during the considered periods will receive compensation.

As it will take a few days to calculate the compensation payments, these will be added to the August cycle, which will be paid out at the end of the month.

Please let us know if you have any questions regarding this process.

    Thanks,
    Amy
