I have two products which I am looking into getting into promoting through affilite marketing. The first is downloadable software. I currently have it set up with clickbank. Even though clickbank is mostly e-books, I felt it was a good fit for my software. The product is brand new and I haven't spent much time marketing yet. I am seeing some sales though even with very low traffic levels.
Any comments on this setup. I don't see anyone refferencing clickbank in these forums
The second is a hard good (apparel), a very unusual product a little on the artsy side which appeals to men, especially those cops, bikers, anyone who wears jeans basically. Sales are very good. I currently use the miva shopping cart and was looking at adding an affiliate module so I had some control over the program. The module has really good reporting and attractive features which would allow things like affiliates controlling look and feel. I have several potential affiliates with high ranking sites which are begging me to get the affiliate program going. Would this setup appeal to most affiliates or is a third party tracking like cj preffered.
Thanks for your help.
BTW I will definetely use the paid service here when I get everything setup the way I want on both products. Looks good

1>Clickbank is the right place to have your software product.. as clickbank specializes in digital products...
2> if you are considerin a network for you second product..
