    Hello,
I am looking for opinions on which network people like more. I am either going to become a merchant in cj or linkshare. Just looking to see what people think. Thanks

From an affiliates standpoint: I want to get paid for my efforts and consolidated payments of Commission Junction insure this.

    First choice: ShareASale.com
    Second choice: CJ
    Third: BeFree
Fourth: Linkshare (Who's interface is clumsy, and datafeed requirements are unreasonable).

    Just my opinion.

Looks like a Shareasale site to me. Try CJ if you like, but I think Linkshare is for bigger players.

I have no experience with Shareasale, so I can't comment on that, but CJ is much better than Linkshare from an affiliate standpoint. (It also probably has more affiliates than ShareaSale.)

    John,

You should fix the URL on your site linking to your current affiliate program. It is not formatted correctly.

In my past life, we did a big review of CJ vs. Linkshare, and for the SIGNIFICANT amount more that Linkshare wanted, we just didn't see the benefits.

I can't comment on ShareASale... but if it was between the two, I'd go CJ.

Ditto on Paul's comments. His past life was a part of my current one and we're quite happy with the service CJ provides in exchange for the ROI we're at right now.

For merchant: Linkshare. No need to pay all commissions
For affiliate: CJ. Easy to calculate ROI

No network is perfect, but having managed multiple programs through LinkShare and CJ I can definitively state that CJ is a better solution for the merchant from a financial and management perspective.

I can't speak for SAS, and Performics has a pretty good rep with their merchants. But, you'll want to consider how the potential break up of DoubleClick as we know it plays out for Performics.

PM me for more details, or look me up at AdTech next week.

Thank you for all your comments. I really appreciate it. Right now we have an in-house program and its only bringing in about $1,000 in sales for the last 2 months from only 2 clients. I am really looking to bring this to larger numbers. If anyone has any suggestion on marketing the affilaite program, I;m all ears or should I say eyes....
