No inactive products in 2 days - not a good sign
In the past it's never been a good sign when my shops go for more than a day and don't show any new inactive products. This usually means a major FLOOD of inactives is coming.

Has anyone else noticed this same trend in the past 2 days? I usually check Popshops each morning and this is unusual. Unless you check every day you probably wouldn't notice this.

    I wonder what's up!

I've been seeing inactives regularly, however, around this time merchants tend to do big updates on their feeds for the 4Q holidays.

I'm pretty sure that PopShops regularly pulls datafeeds so don't think this is on their end.

All I know is with as many shops and products as I have, there are normally inactives that pop in every single day. And from experience when I've gone days without any inactives in the past, then they all come at once.

I work every single day to keep up with the inactives.

It is rather odd that I've seen no datafeeds updated (inactive products) since last Friday. Something's just not right about that. I have a particular merchant that updates their datafeed daily and there is always at least a few items that will be sold out. Again, no change since Friday. I was working in PopShops last night and they went down for maintenance. Not sure what's going on.

I just re-checked and I now have a few (35) inactive products so maybe things are getting back to normal.

Join the party! I now have 558 inactives so I guess some other projects will be put on the back burner while I get Popshops caught up!

(Knew this would happen. It only takes a couple of days with none to then see a flood.)

LOL - I've been working steady at it most of the day and thought I was gaining ground. Another round of updates and NOW I'm at 513 AGAIN. Really, I did see in the 300s at some point today.

msladybug, when that happens to me I tend to start removing but not replacing products in my shops. I just even out a row and call it good!

After working on this for days and getting my inactives down to 150 or so, my numbers just jumped back up to 465.

The culprit for me seems to be WAYFAIR. I replaced a bunch of their products yesterday that I had also replaced the day before. Now here we go again.
