I recently had to reformat my hard drive and I lost all my bookmarks.
I had bookmarked a site (I thought through a link here but I can't find it anywhere) that took you step by step with basic instructions on how to optimize your pages for search engines. The site wasn't just on search engines but that was a part of it. I can picture the website but I can't remember anything about the name. Anyone??? I know this is sooooo incredibly vague but any suggestions or other recommendations are greatly appreciated!!

When I do that, I always go to internet explorer and click on file... then on export/import...
I save both cookies (for sites that remember my passwords, as well as the favorites.....
then I just import them back after the format, I have not lost these valuable and sometimes necessary files.

Not sure if this is the one your talking about but sitepronews.com has some good info on SE optimization.
Predictable, really I suppose. It was an act of purest optomism to have posed the question in the first place. (John Cleese: Cheese Shop)
