I am trying paint shop pro for the first time and I have some pictures that have writing on them. I would like to remove the writing and keep the pic. Do I do this in layers? Which palette do I use? Can any body help? Thanks alot.

In photoshop I would use the rubber stamp/cloning tool. No idea what it is called in psp but if you do a web search I'm sure you can find some tutorials.

You can use the clone brush feature to brush out the writing with whatever has a similar look to the writing's backround.
