These companies should be arguing in favour of an opt out policy in line with commercial email laws.
In otherwords a clear opt out link that features next to the ads inviting recipients to opt out of the WhenU/ Claria service.
And it would have to work on the first click (no 10 clicks and maybe it'll be gone later scenario). Because at the moment you have to be a computer genius to work out how to get rid of them.
I believe that this lawful ruling would kill off Claria and When U almost overnight.
