    Good article. They do it on my site all the time somehow. Glad they got busted.

    The defendants "engaged in a massive and sophisticated scheme that infected at least 4 million computers located in over 100 countries with malicious software or malware," the indictment said. "Without the computer users' knowledge or permission, the malware digitally hijacked the infected computers to facilitate the fraud."

    Shoppers determine what has value and they like coupons. Stop manipulating who set the cookie just because you do not like coupon and promotional sites.

    This very reason is why I am extremely skeptical to add download and toolbar offers into my network...... I have not had to deal with it yet but I imaging that if a network hosts software that ends up bombing consumers for millions could be held in contempt for accessory. **shiver**
