Effective January 1, 2004 the standard cookie duration will change from 15 days to 0 days (or a single user session). To balance any reduction in sales volumes from sales that occur after the initial session, we will be increasing the standard revenue share from 5% to 6%.

Went on to say how excited they are with the changes...shame I can't say the same

Guess what I'll be doing New Years Eve

BTW is this supposed to go here...if not could a mod move it to where ever the o-1 day cookie merchant list is TIA

I guess Speigel is still having problems. This will allow me to drop Eddie Bauer and if it happens to Speigel and Newport News, then to them have a nice parasite day.

I look for the day, when every affiliate from every nation can climb to the mountain top and yell,
    'Free again, Free Again."

Today is a national day of parasite free shopping.

I got it from a notification on performics. I responded letting them know we will be pulling their links and encourage others to do the same and send a clear message.

For the ones who think they are gaining a competitive edge by keeping them up or "doing their customers a favor", I urge you to reconsider.

It would be nice if we could "as a group" impact this decision and negatively impact their program. More changes like this will likely be coming if we don't. Take a stance now!

They really must think that we don't undestand our business. I find their "spin" so insulting. My links will be down before I go to sleep tonight!

Sorry guys I didn't see this thread in time. I posted it in Performics as I think more people are likely to see it there

The Mrs has pulled all their links which were spread out all over the place.

Almost 400,000 impressions (and many text links that don't have impressions at all) this year along with over 20,000 customer visits.

Poof! You won't get them this year!

I've gone through every page that I know of at Performics and don't see any notification. Where is the notification at Performics?

I got the notification (via email). I never got a chance to put up their links, I won't be bothering now and I will let them know why.

Bob, I like others received an email from performics because :
    1) I am a partner with Eddie Bauer.
    2) I haven't elected "to not receive notifications" from them.

If the above conditions apply to you as well, you should have or should receive an email (possibly check you junk mail filter too).
Bottom line, you can look all you want..... but the notice has been confirmed by multiple affiliates.

    Happypoon,

    Thanks.

    Eddie Bauer - no thanks.

Guess I'll be seeing one in the next day or so.
