I see CJ publisher home page now has the following:

    quote:
    New Publisher Category
To better meet the needs of publishers that primarily practice email marketing, Commission Junction has added the publisher category "Email Marketing" to the network. This will allow advertisers to more accurately identify these publishers and provide more advertising suitable for email campaigns. If your business model is email marketing, you can update your category in the "Account" tab, "Web Site Settings" section, using the "Edit settings" link. "Email Marketing" is under the primary category "Web Services".

Am I to understand that the hours of down time, days of delayed reporting was all due to the implemention of this feature?

From what I can see wern't many changes.
All they did was shut it down and to legitimize spam campaigns

I guess they'll wait to make the announcement about the new CEO at CJ:

    LOL!

Must make sense to the CJ management to include Opt-Out spammers as a lead category in web services. Next comes the elite group of publishers, who have purchased and implemented, parasitic B-a-HO applications in the various "incent" subgroups... Coupons -rewards -get paid to surf -MLM -Phoney Charities -rebates and the all inclusive FREEBEES.

You must make it easier for the lazy merchant AM's to target those who need no landing pages or creatives.

I MUST find merchants to replace CJ!

    Looking real hard at shareasale.

    Ssanf,

I don't know what all you sell (but have an idea), but instead of the big networks you might want to try independents. My independents do almost equally as well as my CJ merchants.

Took me a long time to find them. Had to search various search engines. Some did not even have affiliate programs, but I helped them to set them up.

It is well worth the time. Just imagine doubling your CJ commissions.
