    I have no sales since days although traffic is normal. I tryed some test orders, but they did not show up. When I investigated I found the following in cj.com "tracking questions":

    If the advertiser has inadvertently installed their tracking code incorrectly, sales and leads will not be tracked. Once this is discovered by the publisher, Commission Junction can assist them in correcting the problem. This is a rare case.
    ===============================================

    Why must we discover that? It is the task of cj.com to do so. How can I discover that? Any knowledge of that?

    Assuming that merchants 'inadvertantly install their tracking code incorrectly' when they first setup their sites, would it not be prudent for CJ to check the code of all new merchants?

    Surely CJ owes us this much support?

    When we signed up with CJ, their integration team did verify our tracking code was installed correctly.

    They didn't actually make a purchase on our site, but we did send them the source code from our final checkout page that included the tracking image.

    There's always a possibility that a merchant changed their code after the fact (either on purpose or not).

    Carneol: Is this sales-silence happening with just one merchant, or across multiple merchants?

    We have plenty of sales coming through in our account, so tracking and reporting are definitely working.

    Good luck.

    It is especially for one merchant: www.drjays.com
    With this merchant I am privatly talking about parasites especially about ebates, and he has said that he will investigate it from their end. Since that time I had no sales from them although traffic is normal.

    Carneol -

    If you don't get any sales from them, then you won't get any reversals. KWIM?

    @TFAW - thanks for the input, it's useful to have a merchant's perspective on these issues, especially an honest one

    Deelz,
    reversal process has changed if you know. Reversals can take place anytime, and some of the reversals I had were from Jan and Feb. even from that merchant.
