Need Help for choosing a Wordpress hosting
    Hi friends

I want to know complete information about wordpress hosting because I build a website and want to take hosting.

Over the internet I found many websites which are providing this service, but still I can't choose the perfect one.

If anybody have good knowledge about it then please guide me.

    Thanks

You can read a recent thread about hosting here:

    http://www.abestweb.com/forums/domai...or-153169.html

There are many different opinions about hosts, most of it based on personal experience. You will have to make your own decision based on research, and go from there..

Update: You already asked the exact same question last month - what did you do with the information that was provided??

I agree. I prefer HostGator over other webhosts because of their up time and their customer support. I heard BestHost is good too but I haven't tried their service.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

I think it's funny to call something 'wordpress hosting'. Wordpress site can be hosted on (almost) every shared/dedicated/cloud server since it requirements are basic.
    It's kind of marketing trick.

Your site traffic will decide if you can use shared, VPS or dedicated server.
And if you have around 200 visitors per day, it doesn't really matter where you host. You can buy even namecheap or godaddy hosting for $6 per month. Their uptime is above 95%.

The serious thinking starts when you have lot's of websites but then sooner or later you will be forced to swith to either VPS or dedicated, or cloud.

So, the point of my post is, as far as you have just one wordpress site with low traffic, you can't make and costly mistake when choosing.

I too vote for Hostgator. I lease dedicated servers through them and provide hosting to my clients along with support, but their shared service is good also.

For WordPress, I recommend staying far away from GoDaddy hosting. I have two clients that wanted new sites on GoDaddy, and I had to jump through hoops to set these up. The biggest problem with GoDaddy for WordPress is that their SQL databases are shared database and are unbelievably slow. I had to setup caching just to make the site load decently, which I didn't have to do with HostGator.

I much prefer to have direct Cpanel access to my hosting. My two cents...
