Hi all!

    I'm always a bit nervous to post political jokes here, because I don't want to offend anyone.

    But this one made me lol, so just take it for what it is, a joke and not some major political statement.

    Cheers,

    Beth

    When recently interviewed -- Pentagon officials believe they have been unable to locate Bin Laden because he has found a place to hide out with these characteristics ?

    1) It is easy to get in if you have money;

    2) No one will recognize or remember you;

    3) No one will realize you have disappeared;

    4) No one keeps any records of your comings and goings; and

    5) You have no obligations or responsibilities.

    Pentagon analysts are still puzzled, however,

    as to how Bin Laden found out about the Texas Air National Guard in the first place.

    I would have thought that Bin Laden's dialysis machine would have been a dead giveaway.

    Mind you, my feeling is that he's probably driving a taxi around in somewhere like London or New York, minus his beard.

    Now why in the world whould he ever want to do that? Bin Laden/AlQuaeda is the best boogie man they've had since the Red Scare.

    Ditto to Dynamoo, though my guess would be the Virgin Islands.

    Not this time my friend, this 43rd bush don't belief on the every 20 years jinx, after the 41st beat it.
    The 42nd was just like another one of those on the 42nd st. on NY.

    So I go with Charlie this time around.

    I think Bush said it best:

quote:
From President Bush's remarks to the Republican Governors' Association
    The other party's nomination battle is still playing out. The candidates are an interesting group, with diverse opinions: For tax cuts, and against them. For NAFTA, and against NAFTA. For the Patriot Act, and against the Patriot Act. In favor of liberating Iraq, and opposed to it. And that's just one senator from Massachusetts.

I did think the joke was funny, though.

    Michael,

    I agree, Bush said it best.

    "Some of our opponents are skeptical that the war on terror is really a war at all. They view terrorism more as a crime -- a problem to be solved with law enforcement and indictments. Our nation followed that approach after the World Trade Center was bombed in 1993. The matter was handled in the courts, and thought to be settled. But the terrorists were still training in Afghanistan, plotting in other nations, and drawing up more ambitious plans. After the chaos and carnage of September the 11th, it is not enough to serve our enemies with legal papers. With those attacks, the terrorists and their supporters declared war on the United States -- and war is what they got."

    I always thought Bin Laden walked right over the Afghanistan border into Pakistan--while hiding under a burkha!

    As for that pic of Bush, it'd be a lot more impressive if he didn't always have that deer-in-the-headlights expression. Yikes! Not that I'm against him (I'm not), but that Surprised look needs to go.

    It will be hard for the liberal media to not cover the bomb/bullet proof glass cage float in this years NYC 4th of July parade. Saddam, Bin-Laden and Ohmar being pulled down 5th Avenue by 6 pink elephants with the Democrat voter registration cards filling the air like a ticker tape parade. The Chimp that could ...delivers his message by actions ...not words.
