    Affiliate Network Problem
    Hi,

We sell legal documents online. We joined one of the affiliate network (I don't want to mention the name) and receiving good traffic & sales. I have doubt because affiliates are identified by ids only, we are not able to look at the affiliate's website on which they are promoting. The system shows Affiliate's id only. I have mailed several times, but they said this is our standard approach.

Can anyone please share his/her experience. Are there any chances of suspect?

    Thanks.

There are a few networks around that only show you the aff ID but these are mostly lead gen networks, the vasy majority of sales based networks will at the very least allow you to see the sites listed by the affiliates as being theirs, and potentially also show your the referral URLs.

Ultimately if you are not happy with your network, then move to another. However as you have said you have "good traffic and sales" then it seems things can not be that bad?

    Cheers

    Chris

    Thanks Chris,

I heard there are networks/affiliates doing malpractices to claim other sales (generated through organic) as theirs and that's the reason for my post.

    Anyway thanks for your reply.

I have run a legal program before and would not work with a network that doesn't disclose affiliate contact info. Sound like you are working with a sub affiliate network i.e. CPA.

    Chuck!

Its not a sub affiliate network. You did not work with for the same reason?

From your opinion, which is the best network to run a legal program.

    Thanks.

The best network is where the competition is based.
