    Signing Documents Digitally
Does anyone use one of the online services to sign agreements and take say a Word doc then have it saved as a pdf? I have tried EchoSign but hate it!

Do you just want turn a doc on your computer into a .pdf, or is there something else involved with your method?

    Otherwise you can use this:

I've used the iPhone app for DocuSign Ink. It seems to work pretty well.

Thanks AffiliateHound, that sounds like the one I was trying to remember. Hear it on business talk shows. Will give it a try and see what I think.

I was thinking about putting my signature into Photoshop, converting it to a png file and using that in word like a stamp. But I really don't need it that often

I copied mine from a scanned document, pasted it in Paint and made a bmp file. I haven't tried it in Word but the end result is that I need it in a pdf. I guess Word can save as that. might be the poor man's way of doing a digital signature!

I've always used the system of using a signature stamp in my PDF editor and then reprinting the file as PDF. Or pasting in word and then printing to PDF. Generally using Nitro Pro (Paid Acrobat alternative) and doPDF (Free Print to PDF Printer App)

    Cheers

I've made a statement a few times with various people to the extent of "I agree with the terms as presented in your attached email" which has done the job of a signature.

They've started with asking for a signature and the printing/scanning problems and accepted this quite readily when I've suggested it.

Not sure how legal it all is, but it's not been for anything very worth more than about $1000.
