Question Need test/alert for browser type
I have some old fun pages with effects that only work with the IE browser. I'd like to put code on those pages that will test for the IE browser, thusly:

    If not Internet Explorer
    Then (display alert)
    Else do nothing

I've looked for code online that will do this but haven't found anything that works the way I need it to, and I'm not a JS coder so I don't know how to tweak what I have found.

Could one of you programming whizzes run something up for me, or point me in the right direction?
