    Wordpress Issue
I have been using WP for some time and had no problems until today.

I wanted to edit a post and first noticed that the text font had changed from what it was previously although on my site it has remained the same as published. I then copied the text into a Word.doc edited and copied it back but when I "updated" the post disappeared from my site and I have to re type everything back in manually.

I looked at another of my WP admins and the text had changed here also, I updated to the latest version but the new font remains.

Has anyone experienced these issues with WP?

First tip of advice: never copy word doc into wp. Word actually formats text with html and css styling, which can override styling in your admin section and styling on your site. Your best bet is to copy the word doc into the HTML portion of the editor. and restyle your entire post using wordpress tags.

I personally copy everything to a text-editor and then into wordpress.

However, just copy and paste your content from text-editor. It is the best way, at least form my point of view.

Yeah that never wants to work correctly on my mac :-(. But the folks here at iNET give me grief for having to use a mac anyhow.

If pasting straight form text-editor doesnt work for you I could look at your HTML code and take a gander at whats throwing it off.

Have you changed your WP theme? Have you recently installed a new plugin?

I find that anytime something odd suddenly happens with one of my WP sites, it very often is because of one of those two cases.

I would suggest you deactivate all plugins, then reactivate them one at a time, checking to see whether the problem you are talking about occurs.

I'm sure that is pretty basic troubleshooting and you may already have done it. But I know, too, that I've forgotten to do it several times on WP sites I've had problems with.

When you recall your post there should be options underneath the name to Edit, Quick Edit, Trash, View are you not seeing these options?

    Hi adam20johnson12,

What happens when you go to Posts > Edit Post? When looking at your list of posts, you should be able to click on the name/title of the post and it will take you to the Post Editor. Are you getting any error messages?

Hope to hear from you soon.
