the adult industry has been around perhaps the longest. very much competition and I think a lot of black hat SEO.

Depends on what you mean by "to deal with".

When it comes to reliable tracking, speed of payment, and eliminating glitches, most of the big adult players make the likes of GAN, CJ, and Linkshare look like clumsy clowns.

I have not worked in the Adult industry but echo what davidh says, they are very sophisticated. They figured out many things well ahead of the rest of the industry. Talk to Brett who has had some experience in that industry, he is your best source for answers.

The ratio of black hat to white hat tactics in the adult industry is probably lower than in mainstream affiliate marketing. Adult industry actually polices itself very well.

    Very sophisticated.

Course adult can be broken down into different niches, each is really their own target markets with their own marketing methods, ie: Products (toys, novelties, etc), DVDs, PPV/MOD/VOD, "Dating", Live Chat, etc. With PPV/MOD/VOD there is very little original content compared to the number of web properties promoting. Most is just regurgitated "content" from a true handful of studios...

Fetish niches are usually pretty good. It's harder to get (for free) and people that are into that will pay money for it - unlike all the free stuff out there for every other type of adult niche.

    Good luck.
