She spent the 1st day packing her belongings into boxes, crates & suitcases.

On the 2nd day, she had the movers come & collect "her" things.

On the 3rd day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining table by candle
light, put on some soft background music, & feasted on a pound of shrimp & a bottle
    of Chardonnay.

When she had finished, she went into each room & deposited a few of the half-eaten
shrimp shells into the hollow of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and
    left.

When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the first few days.
Then slowly the apartment began to smell. They tried everything, cleaning & mopping
and airing the place out. Vents were checked for dead rodents, carpets were steam
cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set
off gas canisters, during which they had to move out for a few days, and in the end they
even paid to replace the expensive carpet. Finally, they could not take it any longer and
    decided to move.

They could not find a buyer for their stinky apartment so they had to borrow a huge sum
of money from the bank to purchase a new place.

The moving company arrived & did a very professional packing job, taking everything to
their new home ...including the curtain rods!

Don't mess with the power of women.

I knew a woman who did something similar. Her roommate got a new boyfriend who wanted to move in, so Liza was kicked out with only a week's notice.

Liza worked in the chemistry department of a university. She had keys to all the labs. One evening she slipped a vial of liquid goat sweat into her handbag. Just before she left her apartment for the last time she dripped goat sweat on all the radiators. It was summer so the radiators weren't on. She figured come Winter her roommate would be suitably punished.

I don't know if this is true or an urban legend.

George Hamilton told his wife he was going to Europe and wanted her gone when he got back.

Last thing she did before leaving, called time/weather in Hong Kong and set the receiver down on the desk.

Always wondered if that was true - and what that long distance bill must have been

Sounds like an urban legend to me.

I always liked putting caviar down the heater vents, myself.

Am I lame or something. I still can't figure out the punchline? Maybe it was inferred the 1st girlfriend bought the place for 1/2 price after the movers removed the fishy curtain rods and the guy spent another fortune on douche for the 2nd gal.
