I don't get the "Visiting Crawford" one.

    I'd like to add:

Testing the keyboard with your face.
Warming the bench. (My outdoor hideout at one job when I needed some peace and quiet to think.)
    Taking an inter-stellar phone conference.
    Inspecting the rest rooms.

And my all time fave, which I didn't coin:

MWA - Management by wandering around.

I've always dreamed of having a job at a large office or factory with poor management. I want to show up if I have to punch in and then get in my car and go home until it's time to punch out. Better yet would be a salaried position though I guess I could ask a buddy to punch my card in and out for me.

If I could only be that dishonest I'd be much happier I think.

Heyder, you nailed it. Even when I had lousy managers, worked for crappy companies, I worked hard, I wish slacking was in me.

When I was in college, we used to go down to the steel mills and drink in the parking lots before going to the clubs (it was out of the way, weird atmosphere etc.). Everynight you could watch a scene repeated by at least a half-dozen cars. Guy pulls up, buddy joins him in his car, 30 minutes later they are throwing the empties of a 12 pack in the woods. Then they headed into work. Hellevua job.
