jeez.. and doesn't he look thrilled about it?

Verbalkent - 'roos are incredibly strong in their legs and they are their main defensive weapon. Aside from the fact that he might just decide to take off with one of those 30 feet leaps, I suspect the shackles stop him lifting his legs forward and literally gutting anyone he doesn't like the look of.

    That's cruel!

I didn't think they can be a pet and that chain sure makes the Kangaroo unhappy!

I think the photo if fake for a LARGE number of reasons that I'll let the photoshoppers and raytracing people explain.

And shackling a kangaroo's legs together is POINTLESS. I have NEVER seen a kangaroo walk by moving it's legs one then the other.

A roo forced to wear a muzzle like that for any leg of time would have leaned back on it's tail, rearranged it's handlers internal organs with one swift double-kick to the lower abdomen and then hopped out of that store, shackles or no shackles, humming "Skippy the Bush Kangaroo" as he bounced away to freedom.

    I'll second the "fake" assessment.

I'm not sure of the technical details, but what caught my eye is the pouch full of groceries: The margins of the items don't look right, and also the shape of the pouch doesn't seem to match what would be the "other ends" of what is supposedly sticking out.

Not to mention the whole "ya, riiight" factor in general...

I'll third the fake, I've seen a lot of roos, even had a pet wallaby (small roo) and somethings just not right.

The head looks to big for the body and roos sit/rest on their haunches not on their toes and the ears look to big. nah- pretty sure it's either a stuffed roo or someones been playing with photoshop.
