    Seriously, update your archaic platform...
ONE download location for ALL feeds - STILL? Almost acceptable if you have one website on a single server. Some affiliates have different websites on different servers.

ONLY .zip files? What about additional compression methods, like .gz?

And GAN, don't even bring up the suggestion of using your API. You have got to be kidding, it's a joke.

Stopped promoting GAN some time ago because it's a crap flatform - keep asking why should anyone bother, not functional nor applicable in the way affiliate marketing / business is actually done.

    Just not worth it.

MERCHANTS you are not doing affiliates, or yourselves, justice by being on an archaic platform. This will fall on deaf ears and no improvements will be made...

All the challenges listed above are very true. I find myself working hard to work within GAN, as well as, assist Publishers promoting offers.

    ALSO:

    Cannot access reports using Safari

The Product Link generator appeared to be a great new tool when introduced but it DOES NOT WORK - you can go crazy putting in variations of a product name to try and get a link to come up and half the time it never does, though the product is live on a merchant's site. Also if you do a search, most of the results are irrelevant to the keyword. AND - and this is a biggie - a large percentage of the links that do come up are for products that ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE from the merchant.

The Safari tracking issue is a BIG one for us. We rely on SID's to track our sub affiliates, so their current system of giving out a check with a guestimate of your earnings doesn't work for us. We are dropping GAN and suggesting that all of our top performing merchants move to another network as well.

That's one of the reasons why I closed our program there. The platform was absolute crap - no rhyme or reason to their layout. Usability was a nightmare.

That and the seeming lack of interest in affiliate quality control at the network level.
