Trouble logging in to Google Affiliate Network
For the last couple of days, I've had no success logging in at www.connectcommerce.com due to a slow running script, even when the public location library has up to date pc's.

Is anyone else having this issue?

    Please help.

    Rick

You may want to use the correct URL. That one one went bye-bye some time ago.

    www.google.com/affiliatenetwork/

Oh, and don't use Opera - doesn't work...

http://www.google.com/affiliatenetwo...s#p232578:home is the page that comes up when you enter Google or http://google.com/affiliatenetwork. Both lead to the same page, and the same result. I am able to start the log-in process from either, but the script does not complete. Thanks for the input, though. You are appreciated.

Have you tried logging in from OTHER than the public library?

If not, the Public Library may be blocking the cookie - and for good reason...

    Public library use...
    Convergence,

All of my affliate marketing efforts have been by way of college and public libraries without event up to the past couple of days. Never a problem accessing Google affiliates.

However, I am interested in your perspective about why they would want to block the cookies. Still learning, "never stop learning" is my perspective. Is it a form of spyware that would bring the concern? Just thinking out loud.

    That's putting it mildly.

The Google has established that it bypasses a user's privacy settings in order to further track their every breath...

    My reply:

Given these facts, is affiliate marketing helping to set an Orwellian engine, albeit 30 years after "1984?" We know that the Web was created by and for a very powerful government that works with other like entities. Maybe they may be using it against us. Am I overthinking this?

    I'm loving this

It's not affiliate marketing that is the Orwellian Engine.

Hi Rick - I started having the same issue with login about a week ago. Not sure what Google changed but something changed. I was having the problem when using IE8. I'm now having to use FireFox to login. Can't offer any help but just wanted you to know you're not alone.

  10. Thanks From:

LOL. "I'm loving this." Me too. There is so much more to any conversation than its particulars. Sociology, economics, psychology, etc. (You did know that economics is actually a sociological study, I assume?")

Good to get to know you, bro.

On a theological level everything could be a sociological study

Firefox worked like a charm, but that raises questions about what the folks at GA know and how they plan on fixing it. Or are they getting a kickback from FireFox? Either way thank you very much for the right answer to my problem.
