Are there good affiliates out there?
I just inherited a new affiliate program having never managed one before. We market to our upwards of 2 million users but its very hard to find good, active affiliates. The few active affiliates we have say we have the best conversion rate and commissions in the industry.

Where do good affiliates go to find someone to promote and how do I get them to try me out?

    Hi,

I am a little confused at what you are asking. Are you asking where your current affiliates (the ones that are a part of your affiliate program) go to recruit other potential affiliates to your program? Or are you asking where you, as an Affiliate Manager, can go to attract new, like-minded, well performing affiliates?

If it is the first, I'd search around on this forum a bit-- there are a lot of threads on how to attract new affiliates to your products and services. It really, in that case, comes down to your niche.

If it is the second, I'd talk to your current affiliates. Send them an individual email, call them, ask them how things are going and get their opinions on sub-affiliate strategies and how you can reward them for bringing in new affiliates to your program.

Which network(s) do you have your merchant in?

I usually hear about new merchants and programs from AMs and OPMs directly who sense there will be a match between a program and one of my Lass Group sites.
