Wow... that's some crazy stuff. I'm sure some of these folks will be future contestents in the Darwin Awards. At this point they're just runner's up for the award. They did something stupid enough to qualify, it just didn't result in their demise so they can't officially win.

I love #6, you know those guys were high fiving each other when they came up with that. I used to work construction and would see these idiots all the time. People smoking while refilling propane tanks as some kind of sign of bravery...

I like #6, that's classic. But the 3rd one... really makes me laugh.

The look on the innocent bystander's face! Like he just walked over from a hotdog stand on the sidewalk or something and saw these guys. I can just imagine what he's thinking there... "what is anthrax, anyways?"

As a former Electrician, #2 gave me the heebie-jeebies.
Standing on an ALUMINUM stepladder that was suspended in water, being barefooted, and using an electric power drill...

To quote Mr. Rogers,"Can anyone say 'Barbeque???'"

Sheesh. 120 volts electrocutes and kills more people than any other voltage.

    Friggin' Idiot.

your common static shock from rubbing feet on the carpet is something like 10,000 volts.

120 volts you shouldn't even feel.

although I'm sure that there's enough amps running from that type of drill to kill.. but over such a large amount of water I'm wondering if the circuit would break before any harm is done. Standing on that ladder it doesn't seem like he's in the path to any grounding outlets(drain and so on).

But yeah it's still not very smart doing what he's doing :P

I was in Playa del Carmen (Mexico) on vacation and was witness to something very similar to 2nd place.
The really scary part is that some people didn't get out of the pool while this was going on.
