    Google Analytics for Wordpress
I have been advised to install the Google Analtics WP plug in but when I did a search there were about 5 options.

Has anyone got good, or bad, feedback from these options and what would users recommend.

    Thanks

Out of curiosity - why do you think this is a good idea?

    NO. Absolutely not.

If you want analytics there are FREE open source programs out there. Granted they require coding and a learning curve and may not be for the faint of heart.

Analytics are just that - for YOU to analyze your traffic. You have to understand what the analytics program does and what it all means.

The LESS you rely on products from the Google, the better off you will be...

And, if you must do it, why not enter the Google code direct....Why is a plugin needed?

Daiarian, if you have All in One SEO Plugin installed. Go to "setting", You can enter "Google Analytics ID" there. You don't need another plugin for Google Analytics.
