    Twitter Giveaways
    Happy Friday Everyone,

What do you guys think about providing Affiliates with products to give away to their TW followers (FB fans)? I'm talking about affiliates who are relatively successful in Social Media Marketing.

I manage three stores, so the products would be electronics/office supplies, apparel/accessories and health related.

    Thank you in advance

I think its a great way to engage your affiliates and you'll probably have a decent response if you have the right kind of affiliates...the ones that do reviews and giveaways, not coupon sites.

I think this is a great way too. I agree, the focus needs to be on those with great social media following.

I'm curious to see this works out. You're going to have to find affiliates with a good following that are willing to be sold to. Of course, I think the free offering is going to go a long way in that.

You can definitely do that, but make sure to calculate these things accurately or you will be in a lose.
People love freebies and receiving one is a great feeling . It will give the costumers an opportunity to try out your products for free and of course this will leave a good feeling for the next time the costumer will want to buy this kind of product and will remember you.

    Good luck

If they have sufficient following to make the ROI play out - why not?

As mentioned above, I think it comes down to how active their social media networks are. I've run Twitter giveaways in the past for an account that had thousands of followers, and we had VERY little interaction (literally just a few RT's or responses). Great idea in theory but do all you can to only try it for an affiliate with a VERY active account.

Please do let us know how it works! Good luck!

Search Monitor sent out an interesting email today that listed the top affiliate networks by Twitter activity. Am waiting for permission to post on the forum.

I use Twitter to network and recruit, mainly for PR. Have not tried give-aways.
