How to Calculate Max CPC?

1. How to Calculate Max CPC?
Hi everyone I really need help on figuring out MAX CPC. Did research online but everyone seems to have their own formula which makes this all confusing. I have provided the following stat below from my recent AdWords for your reference. Thank you very much!

-Gross sales = \$91.73
-Total clicks = 49
-Total advertising cost = \$26.05
-Conversion = 30.6% -> 49 clicks divided by 15 sales

2. Can anyone help me with this? Bump!

3. Here's an article from Google that might help you:
Choose a bid amount that works for you - AdWords Help

If you do a search engine search you'll find many
articles on this topic.

Now that I bumped your thread maybe someone who actively
uses AdWords will notice and respond.

4. Thanks for the link! Still didn't answer my question though...

5. What is your definition of "MAX CPC"? What answer do you want?

\$26.05 divided by 49 clicks = \$0.53 / per click.

One sale for approx. every 3.26 clicks or approx. \$1.74 click cost per sale...

6. Based on my stats above I want figured out what my maximum cost per click should be set for this particular campaign. Thanks.

7. What you can afford...

8. Calculate your maximum CPC by multiplying the overall product margin per sale by the conversion rate. For example, if you have a margin of \$100 per sale with a 2 percent conversion rate, your maximum CPC will be \$100 * 0.02 = \$2.
