Amazon Affiliate Program is not available in my state. What are my other options?
I am planning to create a website which sells designer mobile phone covers.
Earlier I wanted achieve it with the help of Amazon's affiliate program but sadly this program is not available in Connecticut.
What are the other affiliate programs which can help me for this website?
What are the dos and donts you would suggest to achieve my goal?

You may be able to use VigLink or Skimlinks to refer customers to Amazon and still get paid. Otherwise you'll need to find another merchant.

Haha no that's your job! Just search on Google to find out who else sells this stuff and see if they have affiliate programs.

You will find a helpful group here, but many of us are affiliates... if a merchant converts well, or offers unique products that fit our own niche, we tend to keep that to ourselves. An affiliate site can be successful if it offers a unique combination of products, so it's worth spending time to find & build your own list

Having said that, you just need to join the major networks - Commission Junction, Linkshare, GAN, Shareasale, etc - then you can browse lists of merchants with affiliate programs. Store research is part of building an affiliate site.

    Good luck!

We have an extensive list of networks and white labeled affiliate programs. Click the forums link at the top of this page to see the list. Some networks require that you become an affiliate before you can review the list of merchants they manage.
