    Most-Tweeted Affiliate Networks Q2: LinkShare Leads Field Of 23
    Here is an interesting article about Affiliates on Twitter. Enjoy!


    The Search Monitor crawled its Twitter data feed for Q2 looking for Tweets with affiliate network links, to find that LinkShare accounted for 36% of those Tweets, followed by ClickBank at 22%; Commission Junction, 16%; and Affiliate Window and ShareASale at about 6% each.

    ConnectCommerce took about 4%, followed by TradeDoubler and AvantLink at 2% each. eBay took about 1%

    All this means is that among this group, LS is devoting the most resources to promotion on Twitter.

    I would wager that they "encourage" their merchants to tweet with LS in the message.

    Hi AffiliateHound,

    We are only reporting what we saw on Twitter. The data set is only tweets that contain an affiliate URL either in the tweet or a redirect from the tweet. So if Linkshare is encouraging their affiliates to utilize social media that can't be a bad thing. But like I said we are only report what we found. Thanks for the response.

    Isn't there some type of code or formula that you can use to find just all the LS tweets or SAS tweets so that you can see which affiliates are tweeting about specific products?
