    Passing SEO link juice
Okay, this might be a dumb question but oh well.

The company I work for has several sites that all fall under the same category of electronic invoicing software, but are each focused on a specific vertical. If we linked between the sites, would that pass some link-juice from inbound links to one of the sites to the others?

Not unless they are related and not duplicate content.

It's also Page to Page. So the page you are linking from has to have some juice AND be relevant to the page it's being linked to in order to have any positive effect. Otherwise, it's why Penguin was created...

    Agree with Convergence..

I don't believe it would pass link-juice, but it might help visitors to know there are related entities - but err on the side of caution in case G views it as spammy (you and I know it's not, but G tends to use their own, sometimes flawed, judgement!).

Just create a relevant sub page that is linked to from the home page of those sites.
