Is there anyone here who is using Opt-in Pro from Kowabunga? I would like know your experience. How do they compare in terms of SPAM complains etc. with Topica?

    Hey KCEdit -

I use Opt-in Pro both for the ClubMom affiliate program, and for my personal lists.

I think it's a great deal - plenty of bells and whistles, and the starting cost is $20/month.

It's really nice if you use it in tandem with an affiliate program at MYAP, because everything syncs up, and you can sort the affiliates into a number of categories based on level of activity for each affiliate.

I'd be happy to answer any questions.

I have to agree with Shawn. I also use OIP in tandam with MyAP. We have 10 lists and this allows me to setup different databses to capture different lists.

Also, OIP allows you to track how many emails were opened and how many clicks went through tagged links. I love the stats on the system.

It is slow sometimes due to heavy volume but I am sure a reputable company like Kowabunga is working on an upgrade. *wink*

I am also happy with OIP and have referred my affiliates to use them as well.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks, Shawn & Ian.

Do they support subscribe and unsubscribe via emails (through subject lines or message text)?

    OIP Rocks....

easy interface, very flexible and can handle large volumes rather quickly...

    Hi KCEdit -

They support subscribing in a number of ways: sending e-mail to a specific e-mail address, by subject lines, and forms (they provide templates, or you can put together your own).

As far as unsubscribe, there is a link at the bottom of any e-mail you send out for the subscriber to unsubscribe.
