    Best Cart/Affiliate/Merchant for Recurring Billing
I have a site that charges a monthly subscription. I built it in DNN on the front end, a custom C# aspx application on the back and Paypal managing the subscriptions. I would like to start using an affiliate system like Shareasale and am open to using any cart, front end and merchant. Unfortunately it seems like the subscription part is limiting my options. I have spent way too much time reading up on all the options and am getting frustrated.

Love to know if anyone has experience with this combination. All information is welcome. Would even be willing to hire someone here with experience to help me find the correct combination or implement a solution.

    Thanks!

If I read this correctly - you want to launch an affiliate program for your own product, which is a recurring monthly subscription managed by Paypal. When you say "affiliate system" like Shareasale, you wish to become a merchant..?

I'll let others speak to the technology, just wanted to clarify the intent - it seems a little odd that networks wouldn't be able to handle subscriptions. I assume they would be treated like recurring transactions.

    Thanks teezone!

Yes the affiliate program is for my own product.
Yes I would like to become an affiliate merchant.
Paypal is current subscription manager but I am flexible.

Yes I find it odd too that this is so hard, but it appears that the act of adding recurring billing seems to mess with the man in the middle status of most carts. It looks like the carts that do a good job with affiliate integration can not handle recurring sales and pay pal does not do affiliate integration well.

There are full e-commerce sites that do both, but is way more than I need. So if anyone knows of a product that handles all three well, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks Convergence!

I read that post too. That thread is five years old with a single comment. Rather discouraging. At this point the affiliate program does not have to even be Shareasale. Just liked what I read about them.

I just found this combination of product that, might have everything that I need.

This combination might work with a wordpress front end, phpurchase for the cart, WordPress Affiliate Platform Plugin and the Merchant for Authorize.net or Quantum Gateway. I'll do some checking to see if anyone is using this combination... Man there sure are lots of pieces to snap this all into place. I can see why so many places just build their own system.

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!! PHP purchase is now cart 66...

If anyone has the recurring, affiliate, cart thing up and running on their site and is happy with it let me know. I feel like I can mess with these products and read every FAQ for months more and not get any closer.

This may be a bit of a stretch, but take a look at WHMCS.com - very flexible...
