How do you post products on Tumblr,FB,Twitter and Pinterest?

Also is it legal to post affiliate links on the website above?

I would use social media to interest people in my
    site[s]/blog[s] -- I wouldn't list products directly
    on those social media services.

    What do others do?
I know I unfollow Twitterers who tweet products
    and unfriend pushy Facebook friends

You need to read the terms and conditions of each network. Tumblr specifically prohibits use in affiliate marketing (posting affiliate links) I know this because they actually suspended my account for just using the name "affiliatewarrior" on my account... not even posting anything. The terms and conditions of Pinterest actually prohibit "business use" of Pinterest unless you have a "business account"- so you might want to watch for this.

In general, I always recommend using you social media accounts to send traffic back to your site, and to help you communicate with your audience as opposed to being the primary means of link distribution. I wrote about this issue in the article Facebook-only Affiliate Models Are Flawed

I agree with the above comments. I mostly use Twitter and Facebook (I'm hardly on Pinterest/Tumblr) to share content. *Sometimes* I post a link or two, but only if I really believe in the product and only if I think that it's really worth putting out there.
