Does anyone have or know of a program that would be able to download the transaction reports from cj.

At the bottom of the transaction report (or any other report) is an option to download it in several formats (CSV, TAB, PIPE, Excel and XML). It will download the entire report, even if it spans multiple pages. Unfortunately, you can only do one month at a time.

Why didn't I figure that one out on my own?

You may already know about the download option and are looking for a way to streamline the process.

It's possible to create your own web page that submits the download request to CJ, thereby eliminating a few steps in the CJ interface. View the source code for the transaction report page and scroll towards the bottom. Copy everything between the two form tags. Remove the as_dynamic_period hidden variable and instead use the SELECT code from the Run Reports page that displays the Pre-Selected Periods. I tried this and it works.

You'll still have to login first, but you might be able to streamline this using the same method (I haven't tried it).

It's not completely automated, but it definitely saves a bit of wading through the CJ interface.

You can also contact CJ and get set up with a subscription to the data the same way that you get product feeds.

Just posted this in another thread, but I have a perl script that gets data from CJ and inserts it into a MySQL database automatically. You'll probably have to have decent programming skills to get it set up and running for you, but I'll send it to you if you'd like. Just email me.
