    Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from ABestWeb!
    I want to wish all members and visitors a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from ABestWeb! Special wishes to the moderators who work tirelessly to keep things going here.

    Its a quiet Christmas at the Hamrick house this year as my kids (step) are in Colorado. Just the wife and I are together and enjoying some time together. Spent Christmas Eve shopping in a snow storm then a great dinner at a local brew pub. Today we will do our traditional Christmas Day skiing but taking it slow as we both strained our knees this last weekend.

    Hope everyone is having a great holiday, let us know what you are doing or if doing nothing can we send some virtual seasonal cheer?

    Merry Christmas back at ya Chuck & to all at ! Hope all are enjoying a day off.

    Just had a niece & friend over for a lovely brunch. Warm day here, going for a "constitutional" soon, catching up with friends by phone (my closest friends are très old school, think Twitter, FB, Pinterest et al is totally daft).

    Merry Christmas to all my fellow ABWers!

    We spent the day with my wife's family opening presents and overeating.

    Looks like my Q4 will end OK(ish). How well did everyone else do this holiday shopping season?

    I had a nice Christmas dinner at my parents' house.
    My brother was there with his wife & I had a step-cousin come over.
    We had a pleasant dinner and exchanged simple gifts

    I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas

    A lil bit late in wishing Merry Christmas to all but will anyway. Sounds like you all had a nice day. Hope Santa treated all of you well

    Spent most of the time leading up to Christmas eve baking cookies, Christmas eve with family at my niece's house. Spent Christmas day pretty quietly as well just with hubby.

    Hope you and your wife's knees feel better Chuck.

    We ventured out on Christmas Day and started on the bunny hills. Cheryl was really worried about her balance but did well. We ended up going high on the mountain and skied a blue run, did well. We made the three mile return run and were done at the point plus it was below freezing so we headed home for hot buttered rum!

    Well ummmm never been on skis so ya might as well be speaking Martian to me regarding what you and your wife were dong skiing lol but think I might have an idea of how well things went

    bunny hills - where beginners or the lil ones might go ?

    high on the mountain and skied a blue run - have a feeling definitely wouldn't be for any skiing scaredy cats. Would be for a serious skier ?

    hot buttered rum - do understand this one....... YUMMMM

    sounds like your knees weren't a problem, glad you had a nice time.

    Beginners runs = green
    Intermediate = blue
    Expert = black
    Psycho = double black
    You pretty much got it. We both have had knee surgery so were worried that they were messed up. Did pretty well and had fun together.
