I work a lot with Facebook and the Facebook Statistics.
I realised that many times the datas in the statistics do not match the data on the facebook timeline. i.e. on the timeline i can see that a wall post has 2.000 likes and 50 comments, in the statistics tha data shows that the wall post has 2.150 likes and 64 comments.
How can this happen? Does anyone else have the same problems with the facebook statistics?

I get the same data on facebook statistics (insights) and on the timeline. Maybe you just need to wait for the facebook stats to update.
If the issue persists, you could report it as a bug through their help page: https://www.facebook.com/help/pages/insights

I read somewhere about statistical data about LinkedIn profiles members also. Their data was also fluctuating. I believe that, they might be using around off figures or aggregate figures in wide range of data.

Hmm... this is a tricky one. Any update on if the statistics ever updated crow00? I'm curious to hear.
