    Recruiting email, so misleading
Got an email from a new CJ merchant, ebatts.com.

The top section says "They click You Earn.. Its really that simple" - that made me think it was a pay per click program. No conversion was required. (not that I promote pay per click pgms, but it got me reading further)

Then it says "It's money for (practically) nothing"
Really! If affiliates could make money for practically nothing, wouldn't we all be millionaires by now! How generous of the merchants who still pay us for practically nothing.

Well, if its a pay per click program, then may be it will be that easy. But as you read further you see "Each time a visitor purchases ...."

Lots of days I do practically nothing.

But then I rarely get paid, either.

I'm always amazed at how scary some of the stuff is that I get through CJ. I especially like it when I respond to a recruiting email and the AM has no idea they sent it out.

You can fool some of the affiliates some of the time but you can't fool all of the affiliates all of the time. Didn't were just go through this with Emitations.com?
