How Can I Find The Merchant I Want To Promote On GAN?
This doesn't look good at all for GAN merchants!

I have given up playing hide and seek with the user-unfriendly GAN interface for a while and only work with a mimimum amount of merchants on GAN.

However, once in a while I will run into a good one that I want to work with and only available in GAN. Why they chose GAN is completely beyond me. But I don't have choice.

So I went to GAN and tried to join this merchant.

But I have no idea where to find it. The options I have on "Find advertisers" are:

    Approved
    Pending
    Declined
    Declined Invitations
    Deactivated

Where can I find the merchants who I was not approved, not pending, not declined, not invited, or not deactivated?

Since when it become so hard just to try to find a merchant in the network? This is unbelivable!!!

    Hello,

To find merchants who you are not currently working with, please click Recommended in your Advertisers tab.

If you need additional assistance, please submit a ticket to affiliatesupport[at]google.com and reference ABW Follow-Up in the subject line.

    Thank you,

    Thanks for the reply.

Do all the merchants available on GAN are on the "Recommended" list?

If yes, than it doesn't make any sense to "recommend" all merchants to me.
Is no, where can I find the rest?

Plus, It only works when I know the merchant's name. What if I just want to browse all the merchants available and see if anyone fits my niche? Do I need to spend all day click on page after page without even knowing how many pages I need to go thought to find the right one?

How about list all merchants under the "Available Merchants", and categary them, sub-category them?

That's going to really help affiliates find potential merchants and merchant expose themselves to potential affiliates.

The short answer is you can't find the merchant you are looking for.
Even a search on the name of the merchant sometimes doesn't return anything even if the merchant is on GAN. You would think being Google, their search will work, but it doesn't.

I know, sometimes you have to play with all versions of the merchant's name to maybe get to it, with space, without space, with hyphens, without hyphens...

Yeap, you're definitely not alone Mayfly, have had problems with this as well.

Don't know if any of you have gotten the email yet but there's a survey where we get the opportunity to give feedback on a whole range of things regarding GAN. Maybe if enough make suggestions about issues like this they'll get changed to make it easier for us. Is nice they're asking for our opinions.

Well, so much for our opinions. I just went to take the survey and got this message:

Sorry, but this survey has been closed.
The email I received on March 6th stated:
Be sure to act soon – the survey closes on 18th March.
    Isn't today March 7th?
