    Thanks for the link..

I'm a little confused by the results - the screenshot of my site doesn't match what I see on my iPhone, iPad and Blackberry Playbook.

Is this only for the Android..? It's a G initiative...

Update: Just reviewed site stats - it renders results via the Android Browser, Google Nexus S, 320x452

20 million U.S. household have no landline.
That's us, we were able to add another cell phone for your 13 year old so we could reach him after practice. It cost $20 to add him to our cell plan or $40 plus taxes/fees for a land line.

Burgerboy, thanks I sent this to all my merchants with the challenge to see how many monthly visitors are viewing their site via mobile browser.

Just wanted to say thanks again, Burgerboy..

I had a pesky little bug that your link forced me to (finally!) address - a stray div that only messed things up in a small Chrome window.

    I checked 3 sites.

On 2 of those I use a small logo in the header....left side.
Sites look good on the test.

One site has a full width image in the header......This distorted the site appearance.

    Thanks Burger Boy.

The results are extremely thought provoking. Whilst the display is almost perfect the obvious drawback being that the text is too small to read so the user has to widen the screen.

So how should we design our sites in future as surely hand held devices will eventually dominate and users will favour sites that are easy to read.

Probably, due to my age and stubborn determnation not to have a mobile phone, it is an issue I had not considered but for you youngsters the challenge is now.

    Good luck.

Good resource, only took a few seconds to test and scored 6 out 6

Here is why mobile should be everyone's priority:
    - 40% of US population now owns smartphones
    - Mobile now accounts for 10% of all traffic (and it's growing rapidly)
    - 10% of discretionary spending happens on mobile phone
    - Retailers expect mobile sales to make up more than 15% of their overall sales by '15

Mobile is huge friends - optimize for it!

"Distorted" was a poor choice of words...
