Got this email from Saks today:

"In an effort to evolve our affiliate program, we will be lowering our baseline commission rate from 3% to 2%. At the same time, we will be increasing the threshold for automatic movement into our 5% commission offer. In place of three consecutive months of $1,000+ in net sales, publishers will now be required to achieve three consecutive months of $3,000+ in net sales in order to automatically earn a new 5% rate".

Why do they even bother to have an affiliate program?
