    Merchant Spam Solicitations
Received two SPAM solicitations today, one from a SAS merchant and one from a CJ merchant.

Now perhaps this is normal practice for AMs to find a website, do a whois lookup, OR perhaps they bought a list from a service <ahem>, and send an email to the address contained in the whois.

Well you're an idiot if you don't actually go to the website and look for a contact us form, which we have. We even have a "Marketing Solutions" link in the footer explaining how merchants can partner with us.

You're an idiot if you send us an email that says:

I came across your website <deleted> and I think it is a best fit for our affiliate program. It would be an honor for us to work with you.Invitation: JaguarPC.com's Affiliate Programs
NOTHING on that website has to do with COMPUTERS.

SweepsAdvantage is a largest directory of free Sweepstakes and Contests on web since it was established in 1997. Members here enjoy an extensive listing in categories ranging from cash sweepstakes, free giveaways, online freebies, instant win prizes and much more. What’s more interesting is the sign up is free!!!

I came across your website <deleted> today and found it to be a good match for our affiliate program.
NOTHING on the website has to do with SWEEPSTAKES.

    Seriously, learn how to recruit.

BTW, just clicked the spam button...

Didn't visit the site - nothing about dieting. SPAM button.

This is Ash, the Affiliate Manager at thechessstore.com

I have gone through your website <deleted> today and have concluded that it is an ideal match for our affiliate program.
Chess, really? - Didn't visit the site. SPAM button.

Now this last one fits the site (in theory). But they didn't go to the site. They just spammed.
