    Wrong Affiliate Transactions
    Hi,
We have a merchant account over SAS. We are regularly receiving messages from SAS that an affiliate transaction has taken place. We just wanted to let you know that we have installed Google eCommerce tracking. When we check the provided tracking number of the transaction through Google Analytics we find that the transaction made from different sources and not referred from SahareASale. We just wanted to know if Google Analytics is showing wrong tracking information.
Please suggest if we can use any other tracking services. Please Help!

    Thanks

Submit a support ticket and ask for help connecting SAS tracking with Google eCommerce tracking.

I imagine that part of the issue is that Google Analytics, only tracks the "last click" so it is not showing that prior to the apparent referral click that the consumer already visited from an affiliate site, potentially went away to do some research and then came back to act upon the referral. Online marketing is all about multiple touch points, it's rare that any sale comes down to a single click or referral.

    Hi Chris,
Thanks to join us. So can you please suggest us the solution. How do we know whether the said transaction is from SAS or from any other Source (As Per the Google Analytics Data). Should we trust on SAS Tracking and award the commission to affiliates.
Also Can you please suggest any better alternative to Google Analytics.
