Thumbs down Facebook has gotten a lot less usefull
It 'p*** me off' that I can't get all the posts of the other businesses I am a fan off also that my fans aren't given an opportunity to see my posts. In an effort to make a profit facebook is making itself obsolete. Well in my opinion.

facebook is moving to a pay per view setup. I'm seeing the following from my company page:

    1) If a post has a link it is displayed to about a third of people than if it has no link
    2) all the posts now want you to "promote" them for better visibility, within the last week or so the wording changed to "boost post" (promote and boost are pay options)
    3) Posts are significantly delayed when they are posted to a fans feed, I'm seeing them days after they have been posted. So a post for Admins's Day that was made on Monday didn't hit my person feed until Thursday.

It's just another way for them to make money (no more free lunch), basically if you want to run an ad they want you to pay for it.

Looks like facebook will be going the way of myspace within 5 years. It'll still be around just no one will care.

also conversion used to be better, The noise x signal ratio is not favorable.... at least here in Brazil the people who spend most of the time on FB are lower income people, unemployed ones or teens always posting the same BS shared from somewhere else.

I am seeing a little success with Event Pages, but measuring impact on ROI.

I agree there a lot of changes taking place on Facebook, time will tell how
beneficial it will be for merchants.
