    Question On Cookie Tracking
Hi All. Let's say I place a coupon add for a retailer in my web site. A consumer clicks on the coupon and brings the user to the retailers store page where the coupon is. The client navigates through the store and purchases something totally different. Does the cookie tracking give me credit for them buying something off a different page? Basically can you get commission on anything once a consumer users my add to go to the retailer site?

Pretty much how it works - however, if it's a bullshit coupon or out of date, and being used just to entice users without actually being a valid coupon - good chance the merchant will can you and retain any commissions...

Yes, unless the merchant has stated that there are some noncommunicable items that are defined in their program terms. Or if they are dishonest they will reverse the sales and tell you after the fact. In general this happens rarely and that's why its posted on ABW so affiliates can avoid those merchants.

    Providing:

    • It's a valid link/coupon/offer
    • Merchant doesn't reverse it for whatever reason
    • It's a commissionable item, merchants will list items where no commission is earned
