Angry How to Login to Old Site or Remember Password?
The old site link I had is no longer working from a couple of days ago: http://oldsite.cj.com/

I used that because in IE my password was remembered. Now if I go to their home page www.cj.com I have to enter my password manually unless I use Firefox. I like to use IE sometimes and would like to know of an alternative link to login that works like before they messed up our login page. Obviously the developers placed no importance in this and just assumed we would all be using FF or we enjoy putting out login details in manually or they expect us to use 3rd party password programs.

    Cool
I've had to input the whole works to CJ for the past several weeks. I'm considering deleting cookies and trying to log in to see if the new cookie is persistent.

So it works for you in IE?

Looking at the source of the page it seems to be their coding and not my browser (IE) unless I use other browser!

    Code:
     input type="text" name="uname" size="18" autocomplete="off"

    ..............
     input type="password" name="pw" size="18" autocomplete="off"

    I sit corrected.

Fired up IE8, wouldn't save. (I use Opera and FF)

Played with the settings - nothing.

    Found this:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ieinternals/archive/2009/09/11/troubleshooting-stored-login-problems-in-ie.aspx

    2. The page has explicitly disabled AutoComplete by using the AUTOCOMPLETE=OFF attribute.
Issues #2 to #5 are under the control of the website, although most users won't know that (Ive mentioned this before). There is no way for the user to resolve these problems short of asking the website to update their page.

yeah I think we need another link if anyone has one or maybe I could send an email to CJ and wait a few years for it to be implemented

I'm sure you all know this but you can login automatically from your favorites/bookmarks.

    Set it as:

    h ttps://members.cj.com/member/foundation/memberlogin.do?uname=emailaddress&pw=password

    eg:

    h ttps://members.cj.com/member/foundation/memberlogin.do?uname=joe@example.com&pw=123456

    Got this from CJ:
We don’t do remember passwords anymore. We removed that feature months ago.
I use Chrome and Firefox but save login info and passwords as encrypted via LastPass.

Opera does just fine ignoring that

thanks for the idea but I'm worried that would be a security risk, especially if I'm using a wifi at a caf or something.

I have started getting used to just using FF for CJ now, I guess I'm better off using FF anyway.
