    Decent Datafeed script / software?
I'm looking for a decent script to manage datafeeds, preferably with the groundwork done, what I'm after is an admin panel to import / manage feeds and a front end (pref responsive) which I can then modify to suit my needs.

Nothing to script heavy and don't want anything encoded source.

Please post your suggestions / recommendations here.

    This is your first post..?

Did you try actually searching the forum..?? The question has been asked many times... and answered. Maybe you should do a little of your own research, and then ask for opinions.

here's what I've found so far...

Datafeedr - looks a bit complicated and too restricted (wp only)
Datafeed studio - looks great but it's source is encoded
Price tapestry - best so far but front end is very very basic
kaon software - looks good but maybe too script heavy

    any more?

Yes I know I should have searched first, which I did just after posting, always do that

Well after a lot of thought I took a punt at price tapestry, the forum seems to be very well supported which is good.

Does anybody care to share a link to their price tapestry site? I wouldn't mind seeing some examples - a lot of the showcase site links from their forum seem to be broken.

I did also find some quite nice templates from pt-templates which I might use, has anybody purchased from there before?

SellFire allows you to easily manage your datafeeds and customize the display. Please let us know if you do decide to try us out and have any questions - we're here to help and coincidentally are working through our development roadmap right now so feedback is especially valuable at this time!

I contacted sellfire when we were making a decision on which system to go with & twice they never responded back. That was once on their site (I think) & once via e-mail.

We went with Datafeedr in the end.

    Hi Michelle-

I'm sorry but surprised to hear that. Jason and I have been monitoring and responding to all support requests promptly. We had a blip in our support back in late spring due to a personal issue, which we apologized for and spoke about on AbestWeb. We addressed it and have put fail safe measures in to ensure our support isn't compromised going forward. We recognize the importance of customer support being a small business ourselves.

SellFire offers a very high-value service. We are considerably less expensive than Datafeedr while still having the core features we feel really move the need for our affiliate customers.

    Emily,

Obviously I didn't know this otherwise I wouldn't have posted this here & yes it was around May 28th

Not sure why you assume everyone is on this forum reading your posts. Not a great assumption IMO. I'm sure there's thousands that aren't here even though it's a great forum.

    Apology accepted.

    Take care

    Michelle
