    Duty & Import Taxes
I was wondering about Drop Shipping and Duty and Import Taxes.
    I found this calculator:
Calculate your import duty in a few quick steps for free | DutyCalculator

Are duty & import taxes something that drop shippers need to be aware of?
How do they deal with custom duty issues from foreign countries?

Rhia, you need not have to worry about duty and import taxes, as your not importing anything. The buyer is importing it. You'll have to worry about them, if and only when you or your business imports it and stores it in a local warehouse and then dispatches it from there. But then if your warehousing it and dispatching it, well that's not dropshipping.

Incorrect, the seller needs to handle the transaction of all duties and import taxes. There is extra calculations and paperwork plus a broker must be employed. This takes extra software.

    Drop Shipping
In reality you should be paying all this in your postage fees at the carrier level. This is based on the declared value of the product and variety of other criteria like to and from locations. Are you shipping single orders to customers or are you shipping bulk orders on behalf of someone warehousing product with you?
