Hi, welcome to the forums! A treasure trove of info can be found here!

I would say to search your competitors and find out who they are using to promote their company via affiliates. A little competitive research will provide a lot of opportunities. Search Google for products like yours and see if there are affiliates that are advertising via PPC. Using the recruiting tool in SAS and offer a compelling reason why people should sign up.

I looked over your affiliate sign up page, and it does need a lot of improvement. There is no program description, there are no affiliate benefits. Right now, there isn't really a reason someone would be inclined to join your program if the info isn't available for them to review what your program is all about.

Hope that helps as a starting point for you.

    Good luck!

    Thank you for your comment

Mainly, I need to know how and where i can recruit affiliates.
I built program itself and I know there are things that i need to improve which i am constantly doing it right now.

I sent out some newsletters to existing affiliates and try to connect to affiliates through aquarium but not having luck with it.

I feel kind of stuck with situation right now.

as you said that there are very good contents in this community.

    thanks again chris.

let me know if you have some useful resource to build quality affiliates.

You might start by linking your Shareasale affiliate program to your website. It looks like you have an in-house which is fine if affiliates are asking to join. But, worthless for recruiting to a network.

Look also into ShareASale's featured placements.

One of the most effective ones, in my experience, have been the Holiday Center placements (under Tools > More > Holiday Center). When carefully crafted these can yield up to 70% click-to-signup rate.

Become active in the forum and you can then create signature
lines similar to the way Chuck and Geno use signature lines here to promote
    their businesses.

If interested in having members give their feedback you can post your merchant sites in the Review forum. than forum allows you to add links to your post whereas the rest of the forum does not (when you are a newbie).

Apart from posting links and being active in an forum what is another suggestion or way that you can build a program with loyal affiliates?

Hi Mimi - There definitely is way more to do than what you suggested above.
    For starters:
Communicate, build relationships with your affiliates, offer helpful suggestions to help them promote you. Give them a good reason to want to promote you and your company. Go to conferences and meet them in person.
Make your program as efficient and professional as possible. Ensure tracking is always accurate. Offer competitive payment terms.

I am sure there are a thousand other threads on here about how to attract and retain affiliates, in addition to how to run a top performing affiliate program. Spend some time searching and you will find more tips than you could read in a month, lol!

Reach out to webmasters who cater to the traffic of your interest, inviting them to join your affiliate program. Throughout your outreach, you will find out that as far as preparedness goes, they will fall into 3 broad groups:

    (i) Those who already monetize through affiliate marketing <- easy "sell"

(ii) Those who aren't affiliates yet, but monetize via other methods (e.g. AdWords, display ads, sponsored posts, etc) <- since they're monetizing already, they may be open to joining your affiliate program, but be prepared to convince

(iii) Those who aren't monetizing their websites at all, or who are interested only in CPM arrangements <- more education required, possibly a combination of placement fee and commission (to get them aboard).

Be compelling, stay away from clichés, stay persistent, and remember to follow up.

    Good luck!

    Geno
